A warm Fall afternoon brought out the most mystical version of Ember Belladonna as we explored an apple orchard in South Saskatchewan. While she always has an incredible talent for creating fantasy soundscapes, it was a unique opportunity to bring her into the realm of visual dreamscape. As always, the Mamiya Auto XTL did not disappoint with its particular sense of shutter drag and the my first experience with the Flic Film "XX-250" brought forth a lovely range of grey tones.
It is always such an exciting opportunity to observe the creatures and characters someone brings to life with a few props and minimal direction. Ember truly embodies the cunning, curious, and dangerous Fae-folk often presented in her music.

A classically trained flute player taking inspiration from folklore and fantasy, Ember Belladonna weaves these elements throughout her music.
